I need to find a real narrow container for an ato.
I only have 4 maybe 5 inches of room to hide a container behind or next to my stand.
OR I need a creative way to hide something bigger next to the stand.
I’m currently topping off under a gallon a day.

I would see if you could find a decorative trunk or crate to hide it in. 4"-5" won't give you much water volume and you may find yourself filling it all the time.

I was getting ready to link the same one from BRS. But @Flippers4pups is correct. You may be better off figuring out a decorative way to hide something larger. I've seen people use those footstools they sell that have a lid for storage.

Yeah, one thing I hate is constantly filling a ATO reservoir! Lol

I’ve also seen people use the small blue barrels with a hole drilled and rigid tubing. One person I know put a potted plant on top!

I don’t mind filling it every couple of days. I really was going to do one more for stable salinity than anything.
The brs one is only a gallon, if I am going to do it I would rather make it worth while and be atleast 2-3 gallons.
Fitting a container in an ottoman may not be a bad idea.

I had a weird idea though. If I was to set up a macro algae display tank with a baffle I could have an included area just like some people do in sumps. I would just need to figure out the plumbing for two tanks.

I fill my 8 litre stock ATO in my RSR 250 from a remote RODI storage reservoir using the Neptune ATK. I program it to run once a day to top up the ATO. The remote reservoir holds ~70 litres, and I just run my RODI every 2-3 weeks to refill it (depending on how much I use for my FW tank or WCs). So no more top-ups for me.

You could do the same, keep a small ATO with the tank and fill it remotely. I personally like the gravity fed RSR ATO as it constantly tops up the tank to maintain stable salinity.
