Hi guys. I have had 50lbs of a 100lbs cycling in my tank now for 6 days. No spike yet and no signs of one..

My Ammonia is 0.2 Nitrate 3 and Nitrites 0.04. I have not done any water changes and the Caribsea live sand had been in a week before the rock.

Tampa Bay are suggesting I may be ready for the second shipment and clean up crew.

What are your thoughts?

Tampa Bay live rocks are one of the best, full of live. I will order some for my upgrade. You can add more at anytime and you will need a good CUC crew.

Best stuff on planet Earth and what Mother Nature has to give. Wish I used it instead of my dry Pukani (2 in college, choices - right?). Anyway if they say you are ready they know best.

Pictures! Oh, wait. I think you have a build thread so post them there.

You have zero Ammonia and measureable Nitrates.

You're cycled enough to take the next step.

Can you put a ton of fish in the tank yet? Nope - probably not.

But you can do the next shipment from TBS and clean up crew will be fine.

Can probably add hardy, small fish at this point as well if you want.

Ammonia is from die off. If nothing has died there wont be ammonia. Id say your good to go.

Ok, should water change tonight? Maybe 10/20 percent? Then have the rock delivered tomorrow ?

I would do a water change just to be on the safe side to help export with nutrient export from the stuff that died off.

Ok ! Rock scheduled for tomorrow. I guess it’s time to get the Skimmer switched on
Late to the party, but you are good to go! I've done this three times with TBS, it's the same process each time, and follows along with what they tell you to expect. Do the water change tonight, and then just keep monitoring after you add part 2 of the package.
