Hi all, starting a new IM ext 100 build using BRS reef saver dry rock, would using 50lbs of TBS live sand do the job of seeding the tank quickly?,how long should I wait before slowly adding livestock?.

It will if you are patient and want to wait you know one month or two and then wait another month or two to start adding corals fish could be done after the first month or so there are different bacterias out there that you work in step with live sand just make sure to check and read and not get one that doesn't go and habitate with the bacteria in the Life stand if you use a bacteria additive and some ammonia chloride I think is what it's called from Dr Tims you can usually cycling within a couple of weeks I've cycled all my tanks using dr. Tims one and only nutria flying bacteria and their ammonia products that they have and had my tank cycled within a matter of weeks I have a 210 160 and a 30 gallon

Yeah, don't put 2 clowns in and "let er rip".

The LS from TBS is some great stuff, it will definitely have enough bacteria to get your dry rock populated quickly. After putting the LS in I would wait for a few days then test for ammonia. If it's 0 you're good to add a couple fish. Just make sure your tank has been running for a few days prior to getting the LS. Also watch the ammonia for a couple days after adding the fish. To be real safe you could test the system with bottled ammonia and see how quick it processes it instead.

Bottled bacteria is great and all, but it can't touch LS or LR from places like TBS. The shear amount of surface area on 50lbs of LS can harbor so much more bacteria than what you would get in those bottles.
