Hi in your opinion have you noticed the way different species and genera of Tangs use their space differently? What about Rabbitfish? Sure they’re all comparatively active swimmers but have you noticed some tend to stick closer to the rockwork while others are truly pelagic species / open water swimmers?

both my tangs, and foxface are always out and about. unless someone they dont know, comes toward the tank. then they dart into the rockwork! lol that's weird to me...stranger danger, from a fish. lol

My desjardini is always swimming in and near rock work. Kole tang is always picking at the glass and rock. Powder brown tang open water swimmer. One spot foxface in cave or eating off rocks. I believe all fish have individual preferences my last one spot was always swimming current one not so much.

Yes I believe they are different just like the majestic or chocolate or bicolor. Just like tangs with same shape and color. But then you could argue with all the designer clownfish. My bet is on separate though.
