Tang are looseing their color

U have a cole tang and a another one can't remember off the top of my head what its called but they are both looseing their color any idea?

Funny you should mention this. I've been staring at my kole for the last several days wondering if it's getting lighter or if it's just me. My other tank and all other fish for that matter are just as vibrant as usual. Only the kole seems to have lost some of the deep color.
Guess I'll follow along.

1. What are you feeding the tangs and how long have they been in the tank?
2. What are your water parameters?
3. How big is the tank?

A lot of times when Koles are dealing with Ich or are stressed they will get lighter at certain times of the day and then darken back up.

Well I'm thinking it's ich they have been rubbing on stuff I did treat the tank for ich with the herbal stuff any better idea on how to treat it

3 different frozen foods and sheets of algae
Parameters are normal
90gal tank

All tangs that I'm aware of can change their colors. Stress, and being picked at will make this happen, alng with diet.

Read the stickies on this forum for more info, but there is no reef safe method that will cure Ich. You will need to pull all of the fish out and treat them in a hospital tank. The display tank will need to be left fish-less for 10-12 weeks.
