I have just added a vlamingi tang after quarantine inside a tank with a powderblue tang. Powderblue started fighting but soon i remove vlamingi back to the quarantine tank.

It had been eating fine but was breathing very heavily. Should i be worried about it? And what should i do to not let them fight?

Let's see if we can get some help for your fish...

If it was my tank I would rehome the vlamingi and paln on not adding any more tangs. Ubnless you have a very large tank the Powder Blue has claimed the whole tank as it's space and likely the only way you'll be successful adding any other tangs would be to add a group all at once.

What quarantine protocol did you use? Heavy breathing can be flukes, velvet, stress, etc - is there any other information you can give?

What size is the tank? What size is the tank you have the fish in now

I had been using cupramine for quarantine. It is a 200g tank and the fish is in a 50g

Honestly, I would do the opposite and keep the vlamingii then rehome the powder blue.
