Tang disease diagnosis

Hello, I am having issues treating a disease outbreak that is mostly affecting the tangs in my tank. I've been treating for about 3 weeks with no losses, this leads me to think it is not velvet. I've even using polyplab medic twice a day then UV a few hours after dosing. I have been feeding Dr G's anti-parasitic food who's active ingredient is Chloroquine phosphate.

Any help on what I am treating?

Wouldn’t my fish have perished by now if it were velvet? Not all the fish in my system have it just the tangs and not even all of them.

How is this fish doing? I'm just catching up on threads. I agree with the velvet diagnosis by others.

The only way you are going to get this under control long term is move the fish to a QT. Treat with copper and allow DT to be fallow for 6 weeks.

Looks like Velvet to me. I'd get them out and into QT ASAP. Make sure to put an air stone in the qt tank and crank it way up. I just went through this with my DT and didn't lose a single fish even though my foxface was absolutely covered with Velvet. I'm pretty sure the air stone and added oxygen in the water was the difference between life or death for some of them.
