tang dominance or aggression

I recently got a 4 inch chocolate tang for my tank and my 2.5 inch kole tang keeps on chasing him and swiping it tail and flaring its fins at the bigger tang. But the chocolate tang is not being aggressive at all and doesn't even care about the kole tang . I want to know if the kole is showing dominance or is being aggressive. And if it is aggression any suggestion on how to stop it
The tank I have is a 50 gallon the ther tank mates are a 2 inch one spot foxface and a two 1.5 inch clowns

Tank isn’t big enough for one tang much less two. :/ That’s why the kole is attacking. Eventually one or the other will end up dead.

I'm not expert nor am I trying to be the tang police, but tangs can be quiet aggressive and Territorial and since your kole tang had already claimed the tank as his own he will be more dominant. Since your tank is quite small for a kole tang nevermind a chocolate tang having both in the same tank that small could be problematic and be the cause of the problem. A good trick to distract your kole tang while you're chocolate gets used to the tank is getting a picture of a kole tang printing it on a price of paper and taping it to the tank.

I would suggest rehoming the chocolate tang

Tank is too small for both especially with one being 4" but mainly it's a dominance aka your not invited issue.

My new PBT gets tail slapped by my much smaller scopas tang regularly still (PBT is 3 weeks old in my tank). The PBT just takes it and keeps swimming.

I would suggest a 6 foot long 125 gallon or larger for the chocolate tang and fox face
