Getting a new tang. I have Nori, but want to do some supplements in the food in lieu of quarantine etc. to be on the safe side.

I feed mysis and Rod’s currently to my existing inhabitants. Is there any “garlic” or other supplements (reef safe obviously) that I can order online and have available to either entice feeding, or to bolster the immune system, or is Nori/Rods good enough?

I use the Kent garlic and as soon as they smell it they go crazy!

Ordered.....

Also, I had used a “clip” for Nori in the past, and don’t care much for it (heavy flow)

Any other methods people ise to feed their grazers?

I use this one but I’m sure Kent’s is just as good!!

Also use a clip by two little fish the magnetic one. Really easy to get off and put back. Soak the nori in selcon and the tangs are in heaven!!

Any need for Selcon or Metroplex or whatever they are called?
Can use metroplex but need the binder Focus if mixing with food. GC-General cure is also a good med along with Prazipro! Hope this helps!

Ok. Metroplex/Focus mixed with some SW, and some Garlic Xtreme, then soak Nori in it?

Or no Garlic with the Metro/Focus?

Fish is healthy as far as I know...... I just want to be proactive. I run Ozone/UV but I know tangs are disease magnets

I mix Selcon and Garlic Power with all the food I feed them, nori, frozen, pellets even though I don’t feed pellets much.

Selcon is a popular one, so is Kent Zoe. I never recommend fortifying every meal. I recall reading constant exposure to garlic in a diet can lead to fatty liver disease in marine fish. Once they start eating I try to keep things as diverse and unmodified as possible. For my tangs I pull algae from my refugium and throw it right in the tank. They gobble it up. It also maintains their taste for naturally occurring algae, so my DT remains spotless. In QT I literally throw every food I can think of just to get them eating. Personally I have not found garlic to be an appetite stimulant. I find most tangs love live black worms.
