Tang Gang Recomendation

Hello all! I have a 88-gallon planet aquarium with a 36-gallon trigger sump. I would like to add tangs to my tank for algae control. I have 2 clowns in there now but would like to start adding more fish. Is there a certain order to add them for an aggression standpoint or does it even matter. recommendations on any specie would also be appreciated.

That size I would not add more than a bristletooth and a zebrasoma. They should be the last two fish you add. Either at the same time or the zebrasoma last.

Yellow tangs are a great algea eater, and would be perfect for your tank!

I keep a yellow and two spot bristle tooth in a smaller tank. They get along fine and spend all day grazing on the rocks. I have 9 others but in a 84x30" tank

I would keep a yellow or another small tang... Not more than 1 though. And just a few other fish.
I kept my purple in my 75 for a few years with only 5 other fish. He didn't like me going in the tank, I always had to watch for the tail slap. Now he is in the 5' 150, somewhat nicer but did try to slap me once last night.

With a 4 foot tank I would only keep one tang.
