Tang general question feeding

I have a foxface and kole tans. My question is do they need seaweed always? Because they eat two sheets a day. Seems like a lot. My sea urchins eat all the algae so they isn’t any algae on the rocks.

Tangs and foxface will constantly graze. You can feed as much as you want as long as it does not stay so long that it degrades water quality. Remember though, the more they eat, the more they poop. I have just a single yellow tang and feed 1/4 sheet daily. He also eats the frozen food I give the tank and picks at the rocks all day.

My Tomini and Convict tang pick at the rocks all day. They eat frozen and pellet food. They really enjoy herbivore based pellet food. I only put Nori in twice a week.

Mine loves algae waffles I had for a catfish but that leaves a mess. I have no algae including no coralline as the sea urchin eats it all. So there is no grazing.
