Tang ID Help

We got this guy this week, and I am having trouble figuring out what type of bristletooth this is. It does not look like a tomini to me, and has the white tail.
Any thoughts?

He looks just like this. The blue is faint, but gaining color as he eats.

We got him for $40, and mostly because I kept commenting on looking underfed. They tossed in some nori pellets and he ate. Got him home and he is a monster eater now.
