Hey all, this may be a silly question, but is this tang real? I have an inkling it’s AI generated but I’m doubtful, also I can’t seem to find the origin of the picture. Thanks in advance for any info

Not real - that's a really bad AI attempt at a Pacific Blue Tang; the site its from is Such Science (not a site I would recommend for a number of reasons).Hey all, this may be a silly question, but is this tang real? Yeah this AI stuff is scary! Like its confusing too, especially when they make stuff like what OP found because its a question of wait is that actually a real fish or real person? Nuts!

That's the new hybrid from @Biota_Marine. It is genetically engineered for Nano tanks and grows to a max size of 2 inches (5 cm). It still needs some swimming room so the smallest tank is 15g. (Hello Reef)
