Hi , I bought a Dussumieri Tang from an online store . Not sure if it’s correct fish . The spine doesn’t look much white there . Understand juvinile stage , Dussumieri Tang, Fowleri , black spot and yellow fin tang all look alike .

please help . Thx

I have read somewhere that u have to put all tangs in togather to prevent aggression. So I put 7 tangs in all togather . I think I am done with tangs

I have 5 in my 230
The last added was the sailfin
He took quite the beating from the others . But they’re all good now

It looks a lot in the photos . Actually it’s feeding time. They all come over to eat nori so that I can take photos . they all juvenile , spread around 300G tank , not crowded so far.

I thought trigger or angel not reef safe . Is that true ? Some angels so beautiful. I wish I can have one

With caution ….
Triggers will eat small fish , crabs but I have personally found most I’ve kept ( pink tail and Niger if not fed well only go after new additions
Angels I find selective . They eat one or a few different species but not all corals .
So for example. My emperor is still juv. .but does not tough Xenia , palys , gsp , hammers , and have not had one eat any sps yet

but most other fleshy lps … gone as fast as you can buy them
 
Most my tank are LPs now , only a few sps frags . Emperor angel is the reason I got into the hobby. Then I found out I cant have them
