Tang in a 40g cube?

So I love tangs especially blue tangs. Would it be appropriate to keep a small one of these guys in a 40g Nuvo fusion with minimal rock and a lot of swimming room? How long would it take for a baby blue tang to outgrow a tank like this? Only other inhabitants would be 2 clown fish. Let me know what you guys think I’m in the market to upgrade my tank and I fumbled upon a 40g Nuvo fusion but I really want to be able to keep a blue or yellow tang. This will be a decision factor in my next tank. Thanks

I had a yellow tang in a 20g nuvo fusion. He was tiny and once he got to where I thought he was too big, I brought him back and exchanged him for another tiny one.
