Tang introduction

I finally have a tank big enough for more than just a Kole tang
The tangs are all currently in quarantine - how am I best to introduce them? The Kole and the yellow are in QT together and are BFF's, the regal is in another and the sail fin in another. The sailfin, yellow and Kole are ready to come out of QT on Sunday, but the regal is about a week and a half behind. If I put the other 3 in on Sunday will I get issues adding the regal later? Or am I best to wait? I'll prob put the sail fin in on Sunday regardless as he/she is too small to really cause an issue (regal is my main concern)

Sailfin is very small - 1.5-2", Kole is about 3", yellow about 3" and Regal 2.5-3"

Thanks - that's what I suspected. The only thing I've not got for the tank yet is a group of 6 anthers, once they've been through QT I assume they'll be ok going in later?

I would imagine the tang-on-tang violence is the only concern......

I woulf say all at once and keep an eye on the aggression. There will likely be a small amount while they figure dominance and stuff, but keep an eye to make sure it doesn't become too aggressive.

Its going to be a WOOO Tang clan up in there. Add them all at the same time and you should be fine. I cannot add any more at this point because my current tangs will kill any new tangs coming in.

Hey so I juyst added a powder blue to an established clown, yellow and naso. What I did was feed super heavy shut the lights off and released the tang. The PB took a beating like a champ but also was able to defend himself so the tangs kind of minded their business.

Thanks mate, its not a major problem keeping them in QT for a bit longer. The Sailfin can go in this Sunday as planned, its so small it will be bottom of the group to start with anyway, the other 3 can then go in next week together. It will give me a chance to get the other fish back in the tank as well such as the wrasse, goby's, dwarf angel, clowns etc
