Been going round and round with this. Want to see if this sounds okay and might work.
DT is 72L x 22W x 24H. (165 gallon)
Wanting to put in four Tangs:

Gem
Gold Rim
Hippo
Tomini

The Tomini (2.5”) is already in the DT. Wanting to get the other three together and put them in at the same time. Trying to get all of them about 3” long.
Other tank mates will be 2 clowns, 3 Chromis, a pair of swallowtail angels and CUC. Lots of SPS.

sound Okay?

Yes- tomini would have been first to go in and done. Gem next, then Hippo then gold rim but lacing together also works. The gold rim is the one most susceptible to velvet so keep an eye on it or qurantine a fulkl 30 days with coppersafe at therapuetic level 2.25-2.5 at 80 degrees to assure clean

Because I want to get them together and dont want to force them into a 29 gallon QT together, I’m thinking of paying the extra cost and getting them pre quarantined. The two places I’m looking at are TSM and Marine Collectors. They both seem to have good success.

Even with prequarantine, shipping stress may have imposition on them but it lessens risk, and Acclimate well
Introduce under low light in evening and feed first thing in morning. Provide proper diet - Very important

Yes. I’m first set back was with the Tomini. Had him in QT with an Orange Shoulder Tang who wouldn’t let him eat. He developed what I believe was HLLE. Tomini went into the DT and is just about completely healed now. Unfortunately the Orange shoulder in going to have to find another home. Beautiful fish, but I don’t want to keep him now. I’ll find him a new home.
