are moorish idols like angels when it comes to eating corals? sure to eat your zoas, chalice and meaty corals, but tends to stay away from euphylias and sps?

Mine eats everything except for euphyllia and sps.

i got some zoas, palys, green nephthea, gsp, green toadstools, mushrooms that all occupy the lower half of my tank. Would idol go after them based on your experience?

I put my fish in a accommodation box until I feel they are eating right and aggression is at a minimum the while in the box then I will release them

Mine has eaten any zoas or leathers that were in my tank. He has left gsp and shrooms alone so far. Just my experience, not to say that they are all like this.

I’m sure something eats hammers and torches, but I’ve never owned anything that did

I’ve had several Idols, IME they like LPS more than anything…I never saw them touch shrooms or zoas but certainly believe it if someone says so…
