Tang not eating with white blotch

Whilst feeding my fish today I noticed that my White Cheek Tang was ignoring food and then noticed he had white blotches above and below the gills on its' right side.
After some research it looks like it could be HLLE although that doesn't explain why he is ignoring food.
I feed the tank mysis every night and then often feed Nori on a clip.

This is bacterial and may have stemmed from injury or skin irritation. Treat in separate tank using Seachem kanaplex with added aeration using air stone. This is not HLLE

Agreed - that looks like an infection. HLLE doesn't cause a fish to stop eating, and the discolored areas are usually symetrical, on both sides, and are usually above, not below the eye.
