you can go up to 5 fish in my opinion, just use a skimmer do a weekly water change of 25% and you will be good.I was thinking of geving away my 2 and trying a dwarf lion, or just swapping mine for beng. Cardinals, not really about size but I'd like a nice fish. I'm sure that's relateable
Flame angel is a good choice too but make sure you feed him enough as they tend to misbehave if you don't, I've got a 25 gallon nano with a flame angel in it that I've had for over a year and he is fat and happier than a clam in fact he's my favorite fish he looks like a pokemon! you can overstock but you gotta do the maintenance.I have been doing 3-4 gallons and not in any order but all once a week, I'd love to have a beautiful show fish (dwarf lion) but if lots of cleanup fish are better I would ho either way, dottyback/wrasse what ever cleaners their are, or just one big awesome fish. I like both ideas so glad I'm here
