Finally got my first tang. Finally found a small tang suitable for my 75 at my LFS this weekend. Picked up a small blue eye tang. My question is do I need to supplement its diet with Nori or other algae foods if there is adequate algae for grazing? I have a decent amount on my back wall that I have left there. My thought is that I can allow him to clean this up then supplement with algae foods once he has mowed through it. Rest of the tank is algae free but there is plenty on the back glass to keep him busy for awhile. Thanks

It should be provided nori sheets

If he'll it it, nori would be great.

Being a Ctenochaetus (bristle tooth) species, it may not eat nori. They eat film, slime, diatoms, detritus in nature.

There are frozen foods that contain veggies, like formula 2. Spirulina brine would be good too.
