Finally out of quarantine and released into the display tank. My powder blue tang panicked when I updated my light setting and jammed himself under a base risk. he couldn't seem to figure out how to back himself out properly and because it was a supporting base rock, I couldn't move it to help him out. He finally got himself out a moment later, but it looks like he scratched his right side as well as his eye. The skin doesn't seem to be pierced and the scratches to the body seem to be slowly disappearing, but there is still a white mark on his eye. Is there anything I can or need to do to prevent any further damage and aid in his full recovery?

Sorry for the low lighting.

The skin should heal on it's own, but I'd keep a close eye on that eye (no pun intended). If it starts to swell or looks popped out of place, you can dose Epsom salt (1 tablespoon per 5 gals) to help relieve the swelling. Epsom salt is just mag sulfate and it is reef safe.

The other thing I would do is start soaking his food with vitamin supplements (ex: Selcon, Zoecon, Vita-chem, even just Omega 3 fish oil) to help expedite the healing process.
