I have been treating my tang for 3 weeks not in a QT tank with cupermine for ich.

It has been 2 weeks with a healthy looking fish until suddenly the tang started having flaky looking skin. (still in cupermine medication.)

Anyone see this before? It is impossible to get a good picture

What level do you have your cupramine and what are you using to determine that level? Could be bacterial. What are your parameters

These fish notoriously wedge themselves places. So that can sometimes be the cause of the scrape looking marks.

Try to take a closer pic just above the tail and upload. I zoom in on the last pic you uploaded and I see redness which leads me to believe this is a bacterial infection.

If the fish was afflicted with ich or velvet prior to start of cupramine this could be a secondary infection from the wounds.

Do you have Kanaplex and Furan-2 on hand?

Went away for 3 days but is now back. I have switched from cupermine to paraguard.
