I was just reading another thread on here about quick cycling. I don't think you should add all these fish at once!
(That is not just the tang police talking :) )

I don't recall ever seeing a tank with more than one longhorn cowfish, except maybe at a fish store? I think this will be an interesting tank to observe with all those fish swimming about.

Nor have I, but I have one and I tried a second one for a few months without any issues. I hope it works.
I will be doing a full cycle from September (when the tank gets filled) to December.(when I get money for fish ;)

The plan is to add all the small fish at once, and then the triggers, and then the cowfish, with the tangs all going in together last.

Having 2 acanthurus tangs may be an issue. Especially 2 of the nastiest tangs out there. You may need a 3rd. You will also need a much larger "tank boss" to keep everyone in line. I have a desjardini that keeps my other 7 tangs in line. He is twice the size of most of them. Thoughts @4FordFamily?

Just make sure you have plenty of hiding space, tangs like to hide in their hidy holes at night and if you have two trying to hide in the same place there will be firework.

I could not agree more!

I'm sure you know already but the cowfish grow very fast and get to over 1 1/2 feet in size. That with their potential toxicity would have me suggest just getting one. The two largest tang species you have also can get to 1-1 1/2 feet in size. The tank may look a little funny when they all get to their adult size. @HotRocks and @4FordFamily are the experts on tang compatibility so I would default to their advice!

I have one, I have seen "families" of them while scuba diving. This will be an experiment.

I will totally get a third (Maybe one that is 6"+ while all the others will be 3-4") can I fit a third in the tank?

All my acanthurus are fairly like size. I went with the larger zebrasoma as a tank boss due to the more docile nature if that's what you want to call it. Every fish is different. My YT is probably my most aggressive tang and he's the second smallest in my tank.

The quarintine process is going to be hell.
Nah, tangs aren't too bad. Some of the acanthurus tangs are harder to get to eat and less forgiving. If you stock up on live blackworms, live brine, etc. It won't be too bad.

Ok. I might get a large sail fin as a boss instead
