I came home from work today and my Tang has a white eye. I am thinking it's an injury. Catching him to QT would be impossible. What do you guys think?

He seems normal other than this.

This is usually one of two things.

Flukes or or an injury.

Do you QT your fish? How long have you had this fish?

I have had him for 2 years. I sometimes QT depending on the type of fish and where I got it. Last fish added was a Borbonus Anthias about 4 months ago. I didn't QT it but he seems fine.

Hard to tell from the picture, but when a fish gets that silver/white disc to the inside of the eye it’s usually some kind of injury. Probably blind in that eye. I have a Naso tang with the same thing.

That's what I am thinking. He was perfect this morning.

With one eye it's usually an injury; with both eyes usually and infection. But of course this can vary. Injury can be treated in a bath with methylene blue; an infection is best treated in a QT with Erythromycin.
