Hi my name is Jon.
I live in Houston Tx and have been in and out of the reefing hobby for many years now. I started this tank 3 years ago and it has become the biggest conversation starter at my home. I decided to share my tank and knowledge on here so that many new reefers can learn from my experiences.

Tank: 65 gallon
Light: Radion gen2 + 2-36inch t5 (one daylight one actinic)
Sump: unknown 20 gallon sump
Protien Skimmer: Aquamax CO2
GFO Reactor: BRS single ran by maxi 600 pump
Controller: Apex jr with additional 8 bar
Dosers: 2 brs 1:1 dosers (magnesium and alk) need to buy another for cal
Return Pump: ViaAqua 2600
Powerheads: (1)Koralia 800 (1)Koralia 1100 (1) Jebao wp25

I'm just using GFO in the reactor. I run carbon in a mesh bag in a high flow area of the sump just before the return pump.

Awesome! What's your Overflow set-up?

Thanks! It's a standard offset internal overflow on a 65gallon tall. I don't really care for it. I would rather it be in middle or smaller. It creates a dead zone on the far left corner of the tank. Anot her thing I don't like about the offset overflow is that it doesn't utilize the shaded space in the middle that caused by the upper support cross beam.

Fight night Friday! Heres some fights that are going on in the tank.

Purple paradise acro beats montipora spongode on contact but montipora looks like it's putting up a fight.

Monti cap is the weakest but spongode, verrcucosa, and forest fire digitata look even matched.

My dosing schedule looks like.
13 secs of reef fusion 1 every hour.
13 secs of reef fusion 2 every hour (30 min offset).
7 seconds of magnesion every hour.

13 secs every hour equates to about 5ml a day
7 secs well is about 3ml.

I try to test weekly but sometimes every 2 weeks.

I just started to alternate 5ml of zoo, phyto, and amino daily.
