Hey REEF2REEF
A little about me: This is my third tank, and the second time setting up this specific tank. My first time was a biocube 14. I live in MD, but had this 35 previously set up in beautiful Hawaii. Since the last setup, I have upgraded the skimmer and lights. As for benefits over the last setup, this time around I have re-built the sump for better flow, I will have access to Cheato, and I have added an MP10. All livestock/rock/sand completely new, except for a blenny and a few zoas I was able to get back. This will be my third time establishing a SW tank, so hopefully it is the best one yet.
Goal is to be heavy LPS and softies. Not a crazy amount of room for how it is scaped and not sure if I have the right setup style for a lot of SPS, but I'm giving some Monti Cap a try.
I had some type of issue in the start where I lost a few colonies of zoas, and i'm losing some color on stuff even now, so I am working through that.
Equipment:
Deep Blue professional 35gal Cube
20gal DIY sump
Reef Octopus 150SSS Skimmer
Kessil A360WE with Kessil controller
Vortec MP-10
IM desktop reactor with bio pellets (soon, maybe?)
Dosing Red Sea Reef Energy
Hawaii Setup:
Now for the new stuff:
As you can see below, that rock almost did not fit. Creates a huge shelf, with about 5" clearance below (before the sand was added)
A few more rocks
New light, plus sand. Rocks in the front left, i'm not sure about those guys. I already have so much rock shelf space not sure what those are doing there. Might have too many rocks but I was hoping to get more than 2 ish levels. I'm also going to shift the MP10 to the back.
Latest FTS:
I need to update that!

I caught him in the tide pools of Makapu'u 2 and a half years ago. Very sad.
