Who thinks a kole tang will be okay with my purple tang? 150g tank.

Fox face rabbit, malanarus wrasse, purple tang is all right now. Want more just debating on what yet. Was thinking pair of cool clowns. Maybe some blennies. Idk yet.

Would love a high end blue tusk fish. But I don't wanna buy snails monthly lol.

Be ready to intervene, purple tangs can be very aggressive.

Is this a 4 foot or 6 foot 150?

I watched a purple tang draw blood on a male Clarkii before, can't imagine what it would have done to another tang.

Interesting c Payne I thought a tusk would eat all inverts.

Well we're going to find out how they do next Friday. I'll use a acclimation box for a few hours on the kole atleast. There gonna be stuck in a 29 bio cube together for a few weeks. I'm treating all my fish for ich and letting my tank fallow while doing a new aqua scape.

I'd rearange the scape, this way the purple tang won't know what territory to defend.

There's nothing really in the biocube. Just my quarantine! Well there's just this! Lol.

My display is gonna be pimped out by the time it follows all new stuff!

I think a 29 might be a tad small for those two. I had my purple and tomini tang in a 55 for a few months and they were ok. They did fight for a few days. But you might have a **** fight on your hands. Good luck I hope it turns out for the best.

Yah it is gonna be close quarters for them while they get medicated and my display fallows.

I have a medium sized desjardini sailfin and yellow tang with a baby blue hippo in my 120 gallon and they are all best buddies. They always swim together and sleep together.

I think a kole would be a nice addition with the purple. Is there any way to hold off on getting the kole though until after your tank has run fallow? Just thinking that it may be less stressful if they wouldn't have to be in the small QT for a good amount of time.

I'm not sure why but a kole tang is one that I've never been able to keep long-term. I have tried 3 times over the past 15 years and they have always died :( not from ich either - was not ever to really determine what from - the longest I had one last was about a month.
