I have my Yellow tang and my tomini Tang in a hospital tank with what i believe is ich. The tomini has the white and the yellow has black ich or flukes. My question is I'm dosing with cupramine and with the 2 of them in there, can i clip a piece of seaweed in there for them eat? Dies it affect them at all? Does the copper affect the seaweed? Or vise versa?

Not at all. Good luck with the treatment :). Ensure you keep ammonia down and do not use amquel, prime, or any other ammonia nitrate and nitrite detoxifier with copper.

Thank you. How much of a water change should i do and how often? The bottle says nothing but it says to keep a .5mg of copper in the water

If the qt isn't cycled you need to buy a seachem ammonia badge and if it's anything but yellow then you need large water change. When I had 11 tangs, 4 angels, 3 wrasse and a few others in my 55 qt it required daily 80% water changes for three weeks then staggered every other day, every third, fourth, etc over next few weeks.

Ammonia tests don't work with copper present and other meds can affect them as well - they register false positives.
