Sorry for such a low quality pic. I took it with my cell phone. Iphones don't have the best camera. I was feeding them romaine which they seemed to just eat because they were bored. I was having some spinach with a sandwich and dicided to give some to my tangs they love it!!!! Just a feeding frenzy if you will. I think im going to feed them this more often.

Lots of folks feed Tangs spinach & romaine, etc., and it seems to do no harm. Purists would say that they should only be fed greens of "marine origin." (That may be a quote from Robert Fenner).
Whatever floats your boat...or fills your tang.

I fed my old tangs spinich with no problem, but like stated above, do with caution on other greens. I found the romaine to just be like cheatos to us, tasty but not much value. But the other greens I thought were a little better, also I would but some garlic on them to help out. With the garlic on, I found everything in my tank would eat it with out question.

okay, i just wanted to give him a heads up because i didnt know if it would harm them. like i said its harmful to some animals. Just tryin to make sure (:

try nori sheets from the japanese food section of meijer......it is made from seaweed and tangs and other herbivore fish love it.
