I currently have a yellow tang and i either want to add a baby naso or hippo tang. Will they fight or no because there size isnt similar

What size tank do you have? More than likely there will be some aggression no matter what tang you add. How long has the Yellow been in there?

Yellow tang will be aggresive to any new fish at this point. They can be a bit on the bully side. But, rearrange the tank, then add the new fish, this will mess up the Yellow.

Depends on how large the aquarium is and what other fish you have.
If not a 125 gallon (preferably larger) I would not add either of those tangs due to the sizes they grow to.

If the tank is of adequate size the next question is what other fish do you have?
A yellow in a community setting it may see a blue or naso as just another fish.
However if the yellow is the clear alpha it could very well go on the warpath to evict the trespasser.
