Tangs

Now I know you can successfully keep a blue and yellow tang together but what about a Naso Tang (Lipstick Tang) in with them? Does anyone have any experience with these 3 and yes ik Naso’ have to have a big tank [emoji23]

I have all of the 3 you mention and about 4 others all together in a 180g with no issues whatsoever.

Like the others said, they will get along fine for the most part. Sometimes tangs are aggressive to any fish and not just each other so there may be a small amount of fighting. However at well over a foot long, I’d think a full grown naso tang will probably want a tank no less than 8 feet long to swim.

Assuming adequate space, individuals from the different genus usually coexist.

I currently have all three. The naso and yellow are best buds. The hippo does his own thing. Definitely no issues. However, my yellow is odd. The yellow was best buds with a large sailfin, amazingly, before disaster killed the sailfin. So, I tried a new sailfin to bring back the magic. Not so much. The new sailfin was killed by the yellow.
