Do you have to keep tangs in your tank. I have always been told that if you going to have a reef tank you have to have a tang in your tank. I have always had them but for some reason they have always been prone to problems for me mainly ick. Any thoughts

You don’t have to do anything. Depending on tank size, in many cases you shouldn’t have a tang. What size is your tank that your tangs got ich?

hi yes in 75 or larger reefs, love the tangs good workers but need room, what size is your tank ,and what tangs do you want to add

little slow on the trigger i was good questions

I have several Achilles, Yellow, Purple, and Dej Sailfin. What you need to do to keep them is to do a proper QT off all fish. I recommend going fallow in your display for 76 days. Then any new fish make sure you QT any new fish before you add them. Ich problem solved.

I had a 55 once upon a time and when I first started that was the fish that caused my problems never had any problems from any other fish. I had the fish for a little while before it got sick so not sure if quarantine would of helped before adding. Just trying to decide if I want to try the tangs out again cause they always caused me problems. And it could of been my fault because if tank size.
