So i got an empty 28 gal bow front. Cleaned it, got a couple pieces of life rock from major local pet store. Ordered cleaner kit online and 2 clowns a damsel, choc chip star. Everything was great ive had reef tanks in past this was supposed to be a cute easy thing for my little girl to look at. I wake up and to sound like my lil girl "litterly" lol overnight it blew up. Little worms everywhere. I dont know what to do. Was planning to drain tank but want to ask the group

I see an algae covered front glass. Can't tell what the white things are. Need better pics.
I've never heard of any algae covering glass in just one night.
How long has this tank been running? When did you add these animals?
You said life rock, do you mean the purple rocks or did you mean live rock?

life rock is not live rock, did you get life or live? ammonia will build in there and things will die if its not cycled, with the amount of algae in there they are likely feeding off of it and will die out once the algae dies down. what are your params?

maybe green cyano? could have come in on a cleaner

I think OP is either BSing or getting confused when they say they have kept reef tanks
Thats obvious when OP used the words Cute and Easy haha.

So OP

How long did you let this tank cycle? What's your water parameters? Is this all new substrate? what kind? There's lots of silicate in new substrate. That creates lots of issues with algae. What is your mitigation method? I recommend manual removal. Is there a refugium and a sump? what's your temperature? PH, flow rate? Can we get a better picture. These may be pods which are great but this is definitely a huge issue for the nitrogen cycle.
