Hi, my tank is always cloudy a day or two after a water change. The corals don't open up as much and the water turns hazy over night or in 2 days. My parameters are 0,0,10 on a 20 gal. I'm also running chemipure which cleared up my water before but not anymore.

0,0,10? what are the other important ones like Ca, alk, mag, Ph, and salinity. Is the new salt water (NSW) made with tap water? are you dosing anything? its either calcium percipitation (because one of the parameters I asked about is outa wack in either the tank or the nsw) or a bacterial bloom because of tap water or dosing something like Vibrant/microbacter7.

currently do not have a test kit for that, also Im planning on getting the ro machine soon so for now it is dechlorinated tap water. Tank is almost 2 months old so is it a bloom?

yes from the tap water. use DISTILLED water from the grocery store instead for now.. its like $1 per gallon. if you are mixing your own salt you MUST have something to check the salinity. otherwise it will never be right and small changes make big differences in parameters. stability is key or you will fail. if you are dosing anything stop.

Yea i have thing to test the salt, can I distill my own tap water for now? Thanks

if you buy a $200 distilling machine.... dont be cheap in this hobby, it will lead to failures and endless problems. always buy the best you can from the start. save your $ at tacobell and buy from the value menu, dont do it in reefing. good luck
