So we recently closed on a new home and now it's time for a new tank! Unfortunately I lost almost all of my livestock in the move. The only thing I could trace it to was one of the jugs I used to move water had a containment. My 9 year old picassos and two anemones made it. That was about it. So I'm starting with a totally blank slate.

Old Tank
Reefer 170
Nyos 120 skimmer
Jabeo DC return pump
2x mp10w qd
Radion Xr30 g4 pro
Jabeo dosing pumps
Assorted live rock

New Tank
Waterbox 70 elite
Nyos 120 skimmer
Vortech return pump
Mp10w qd
Nero 5 powehead
Radion xr30 g4 pro
Aquatic life Hybrid add on for t5 (need recommendations on bulbs)
Dosing pump when needed again
Shapes live rock with few small live pieces to seed cycle

So just picked up the tank yesterday and will be putting the stand together today. We'll see what happens. If anyone has suggestions on t5 bulbs please let me know

;Sorry... for your fish loss... :(

I'd push ATI Blue+ / T5's / with your hybird.

JMO... :)

Appreciate that! It really sucks when you feel responsible for all if it.

I will say one thing... the waterbox stand directions are terrible and there was some damage to the stand when it arrived. We'll see if they help me out with it?

Sorry... :(

That's why my reef shop (The Aquatic Critter) has stayed with Red Sea.

Shoot Waterbox a pm.

I sent then an email with pictures of the box even before I opened it. Little frustrating when you drop that much on a tank and have issues. I'm hoping they'll ship me another stand.

Someone on this site said there are good instructions on utube.

I should have looked at those. It's not hard to do... Just easy to do wrong. You have to attach the top and bottom before the sides. Otherwise you are pulling apart those little metal clips

Well besides the damage to the stand, the sump had a fairly large crack as well.

I'm trying to stay patient on this deal. I know xmas was just a few days ago so everyone is getting back into the office. On the other hand I have a tank and stand that are totally useless and I'm not getting much of a response. They did say they would look into it, but that was as far as it's gotten

So the news from waterbox was not the best. The sump and replacement parts for the stand are out of stock and it won't ship for another week or so they are sending me a smaller sump for now so the tank can get going. I did get some scaping done. First shot and sand will be going in as well. This is the shapes rocks. Really cool stuff only downside is both boxes had very similar pieces.

First pic is from the side. I'm shooting for a nice elegance in that lower left hand corner.
