I upgraded tanks around March 10th went from a 26g bowfront to a 40 breeder. I had to move everything over same day due to getting new couch loveseat so I moved all live rock and corals and all 26g of water to the new tank and used rest new saltwater I also moved my hob filter
The first few days my tank was doing great until I got a lionfish and moved the rock work around a little to have more open space for him. Now most corals come out other than my hammer octospawn and torch and my nem is coming out a little more. I’m running a Chinese black box 165 watt run 100% blue and 5-10% white run two hob filters no skimmer
I haven’t had the chance to check ph nitrates etc but alk has been around 9.3 and cal around 450-500
I’ve been moving the light up and down to see if that helps anything. On my 26g I had the light 12-13” off the surface atm I have it around 8-9 from surface since a few hours ago to see if anything changes
I’ve done one good wc due to virus I haven’t made it to store to get new water. I do have a brown slime algae guessing from mini cycle
Any thoughts
