I am going to buy a 93 gallon cubed tank. It is 30 by 30 around. Could this tank sit on a stand that is 29 by 29 with the tank hanging off the sides evenly around?
Nope. Most (( if not all )) of the weight for a rimmed tank is on the outside edges. Personally I wouldn't want to put that much extra stress on the edges of the tank.
