I'm looking to cover a 96x24 acrylic tank. Planning to go White or Frosted vs the traditional black background. What are my options? I understand that white will be dirty but it will be covered with coralline algae in no time! Prefer to get it on AMZN and apply it this weekend. Help?

This is what I’m dealing with

@bakbay I've used window tint/blackout rolls, especially frosted light blue in color, to good effect. No matter what background you use, I am confident it will look dirty unless you maintain it regularly.

This is the same one I used on my 40g tank on my desk at work:

I have not finished my main living room tank setup yet, but I intend to use the same frosted light blue water-adhered vinyl sheet with sunrise/sunset effect lighting with colored LEDs that should shine through.

You can paint using acrylic paint! This is reversible/removable without any residues and available in many colors. I used black on mine (several layers).

Ooh wow — didn’t know you can do that! Just pick some up at home improvement stores?

Paint is way easier than trying to line up vinyl?
