I'm getting ready to break down my tank. I have a in-wall tank thats been in disarray for along time. I'm going to redo the wall tank and fish room. I have a larger tang & clown that I'm keeping. No one I know has the extra room to store them for me during the next few months this will take. I've thought about using a storage container or a garbage can to house the fish. Looking for ideas advice from people that have stored large tangs/fish.

While storage containers will work, I think that is challenging to monitor fish with only a top-down view. Petco is having their Dollar per Gallon sale now, so I would recommend picking up a 55 gallon (probably about $70) and putting some live rock, a heater, and a powerhead inside. You should be set for a few months.

I'm wanting to use a garbage can or 55gal barrel to save space while doing work on the room
