I'm hoping this is in the right spot! If not, please forgive and move me to where I'm supposed to be!

Hoping to get opinions on the 60 cube I'm planning. Gonna list my equipment, and let you guys tell me if I have a solid build, or any weak spots?

So, please, let er rip!

60 cube with black stand
Trigger emerald 20 cube sump
Rdion XR15 G5 light
Hydor Seltz D 2400 return pump
Reef Octopus S130 Skimmer
2 x Skimz S 6.0 powerheads
Kessil Fuge light H80 Tuna Flora
Tropic Marin Salt
60ish pounds Caribsea Liferock

Inkbird temp control w/ eheim 250 w titanium heater

Salifert test kits, except Hanna ULR PO4

Also considered Ecotech MP10 powerheads, just not sure if they're worth the 200 dollar difference!

Anyway, I thank y'all in advance!

Looks pretty good. I would maybe look for a g4 XR30 over the single G5 XR15. I would also recommend mp10’s over skimz pumps.
I’m not familiar with that return pump but for that tank I would recommend a reef octopus varioS 4. If you are wanting budget jebao dct return pumps are good, quiet, inexpensive.

Sounds like you are off to a good start! I know The corrects are awesome pumps and they are what I've used on my last few builds. However, I assume the 60 gallon would have 1/2" glass, the mp10 wouldn't work for that and you would need to go for mp40s. Happy reefing! :-)

So, I don't think I said it, I'm planning 6-9 fish, and also softies, LPS, and maybe once my confidence goes up, and my equipment (dosing pumps, ATO) then I'd like to move on to a few SPS. Not sure if that matters. Would I still need the XR30, or would the 15 be adequate? The G5 XR15 supposedly has a 35% greater PAR output than the G4 Xr 15.

Also, anyone have experience with the aquamai KPS WaveMaker? Looks affordable and has good reviews from what I can tell. Half the price of ecotech mp40s. Easy wifi control. Love to hear more ideas!
