Hello All,

I am new to this hobby, had a tank for a brief time over 10 years ago.
I was looking to have saltwater fish, and anemone in the same tank.

Am I biting off more than I can chew by going in with a 48x48x24 tank. Can you all recommend what should be looking for and getting for a tank this size.

Welcome to R2R!!! Is the tank size 4x4x2 or did you mean 4x2x2. The reason why I ask is a 4x4x2 tank will be a pain to clean to say the least. My 120 gal 4x2x2 tank is a pain to clean in the back.

I meant a 4x4x2 - I will be putting this in the center of my office, so I will have access to all 4 sides.

K, the center will be pain to clean, as is the center back of my tank, but if you are going to put rock in the center it will help with that, good luck on the build.

Howdy
Sounds great. I have a 5x5x3 tank and love it. You will need to figure out flow with a square tank as well as lighting. The thickness can limit your power head choices. Since its exposed on all sides you will see your equipment. Make sure it is the new multicolored fancy stuff :)))))
