Hi everyone. I'm in the planning stages of a new build and I was hoping for feedback. My coral goals are to initially keep softies & LPS but eventually get into SPS once my skill set improves and I have the budget for additional equipment (extra lighting, dosers, flow, etc.). I would also like to get an APEX System within a year so many of my equipment choices have that compatibility in mind.
Tank - 90 Gallon 48x18x24" (already purchased)
Lighting - Aquatic life 48” t5 hybrid ( will add 2x Kessil A360WE once I decide to start SPS). 3 ATI Blue + & 1 ATI Actinic
Powerheads - Reef Octopus Wave 4 4500gph & 2x Tunze 6025 740gph (Tunze existing from prior tank).
Plumbing - Herbie Method. 1" intake / 3/4" return. Manifold with 3 available nozzles .
Return pump - Reef Octopus Varios 4 1050gph or Sicce Silent 4 951 gph (haven't decided)
Heaters - 2x 150w Eheim Jagers (planning to put in middle section of sump)
Sump - Trigger System Crystal 30 (existing from prior tank)
Skimmer - Reef Octopus Classic 150 (existing from prior tank)
