If you where to talk to tank manufacturers. What design flaws or changes would you like to see made. How could one make it better. Im also a glazier and about to start building tanks. I wanna know how you guys would want them. What is most benefecial and what are the failures in your opinion in current tanks.

A lot of left over glass to play with when your an iron worker huh hahah

Number one flaw is drain size. Go big on those bulk heads dude

Number of holes in the overflow....with so many people running BA systems it's nice to have the option of ordering a larger single overflow with 5 holes than two smaller overflows with a Durso setup.

Wont be any. The glass comes from a local fabricator. Cut,drilled amd pencil edged. All done on a large cnc machine.

I started commercial glazing in North Dakota non union for 2 years and they taught me storefront and curtainwall then I did a year in denver all storefront 3-4 story all punch openings but that was non union also. Currently I’m back in my home town in California looking to go union soon

I have done alot of curtain wall. We work in 50 50 crews with the glaziers union.

RESPECT! Yea I noticed that in denver when doing work near those high rises they don’t use curtain wall tho it’s mainly pre fabbed panels

Its unitizied. Not much stickbuilt anymore.

Yup that’s what I mean unitized panels pre fabbed and hung with a crane. in Denver right now the whole area is still booming with work.
