Thinking about trying to build a tank from scratch using RTV103(? maybe the 108) type silicone. need opinions on whether or not the silicone bond alone would be enough to make a 48*18*14 style tank, and glass thickness requirements. there would be no additional bracing ie- rimless. It is my understanding the RTV is superior in PSI strength to regular silicone.
