Most of you probably have perfect water parameters and don't need cleaning equipment. Lol

But for the rest of us we clean a lot. What is the equipment you use and why do you use it?

Well that looks A LOT like my cleaning routine, except without tooth brush, tons more towels, big scrub brush, super glue, razor blades. Bowl with vinegar dilution for power heads and mag float.

Personally I need to spend roughly an hour and half or more weekly doing maintenance on my tank to try to keep the system barely acceptable.

Here's mine.

Ladder- it's hard to reach all the nooks and crannies

Mag float with razor- algae grows like crazy on my glass

Scrub pad- Some of the algae doesn't come off with the razor on the mag float

Small container with hot water- used to deposit and rinse off algae I have manually pulled out of the tank

Toothbrush- used to clean the overflow. My overflow has turned into a makeshift algae scrubber. Lol

Turkey baster- used to blow off the rocks and bottom of the aquarium (bare bottom). There is always red slime, brown slime or green slime.

Wet wash cloth to wipe down the glass.

Dry towel to dry the glass

99 dry towels to clean up my mess.
