I have a 9 foot tank that sat outside for 1 year. Its installed and filled but now all I see is a white haze on the inside. Does anyone know how to get it off? Other then pulling it back out and soaking in vinegar. TIA

Citric acid might do the trick without the smell but you’ll still have to pump all water out.

Is it a glass or acrylic tank?

Does it scrape off with a razor blade (glass tank only)?

Not necessarily suggesting scraping a nine foot tank with an inch and a half blade, but it might give you a better idea of how difficult it will be to remove, if it will come off.

if it is a glass tank you can use Bar keepers friend and lightly scrub. Still gong to do a lot of clean water flushing afterwards but I have used it to get the high water scale marks off a tank and sump before.
