I’m wanting to upgrade my red sea 250. Looking to go with a apex system. Pros and cons, or should I go a different route?

I’m wanting to upgrade my red sea 250. Looking to go with a apex system. Pros and cons, or should I go a different route?

The biggest con i have on the Apex controller is that the E8 outlets (the new ones with orange) seem to blow the capacitor and it becomes worthless after a couple hundred dollar investment. Definitely a design flaw but Neptune is not willing to issue a recall. Hopefully they are trying to fix the issue.. I went with the older black one (if you can find it) and have been very happy.
