Tank Cover Reef Safe?

My screens were a bit cattywampus when I first put them on, it was from the screen being stretched tight, they have since relaxed a bit and are flat. What kind of lights?
T5

Does it have legs or something you could attach to raise it a bit? Or is it possible to hang them? I don't think I'd like my lights on the screen either...

I made my screen in 3 sections so I can lift one to feed, though I have debated about snipping a hole in the screen to stick a syringe / baster tip through to feed cause I'm lazy.

There is no hanging mount for this light. It has legs that come down and sit on the rim of the tank

Ah, I see. Well I would be tempted to do two screens then you could light in the center and and slide it away from the legs. Downside is the aluminum across the tank will block some light. Depending on how far the legs are blocking the screen you may be able to make the screen just a tad small and be able to to slide it out from under the legs enough to remove it...
Got a pic?

Here is the gap in between the cover and the tank rim. It is there because the light can sit flat because the electrical cord on my power head.

Ok, can you size the screen down a bit to sit on the inside lip of the tank trim?
And I would try to take a notch out of the aluminum with a dremel to allow the cord to come out, just make sure it's smooth to not cut the cord... test if that may work on a piece of scrap frame. ...

Go Cowboys! [emoji13]

Lol, and we still have the joy of Romo with his glass clavicle [emoji20] though looks like Johnny Football is gonna be hanging around Dallas a while...

Well, if the screen doesn't work out with the pump cord, it sounds like a good reason to upgrade to a ecotech mp series pump

I wish I could upgrade :)
I don't see Romo being healthy for a very long time and Manzel is not starting QB material so you guys might be in rough shape. I feel good about Cousins this year.
Go skins!!!!!!!
