TANK CRASH?

Hey folks about 12am here at canada AND MY ENTIRE TANK IS MERKY RIGHT AFTER INSTALLING A NEW UV LIGHT IM FREAKING OUT RIGHT NOW SO I JUST UNPLUGGED IT

i quickly turned on the lights an it was so so cloudy!! if anyone has ANY suggestions I'm all ears

It looks like you stirred up something that just needs to settle back down.

Temperature is good or not raised? Stray current?

Could it be snails or something else are spawning if everything looks healthy?

wait i think i may have found my culprits... all my trocus snails are at the top of my tank

I noticed that you plumbed your UV directly into your return pump (which is fine, btw), but did you increase the flow to compensate for the additional piping? Just wondering if the -/+ flow had an impact.

I would turn it back on. UV's help with cloudy tanks

Yep! i think im moving 1100ish GPH if we account for all the losses in the 90s and such

Also while constructing once i finished building it and popped the lamp in some of the pvc slightly... glows?

Hopefully this plain old sch40 2 inch will not just destroy itself?

never had a spawning event this large... usually i occasonally see one or two of them pop down infront of my wave maker and let her rip.. but every single one is pumping as much as it can

I did do a 10% wc while the plumbing was setting so i guess they decided to have a massive orgy

The skimmer going nuts has me suspecting that it should clear in a few hours or by morning...
